Students taken to hospital
A female student was transported to Mercy Hospital by ambulance Feb. 5 after having an allergic reaction to the food she had for breakfast that morning, according to campus police reports.
Two days later on Feb. 7, an ambulance was called to the campus to transport a female student who was believed to have had a seizure. The student was taken to Mercy Hospital for observation.
Vendor loses $1,000 in merchandise
A vendor with Equus Books left three cases of assorted books unattended by the north side of the Language Arts building. No witnesses were found and the books were estimated to be worth $1,500, campus police said.
Backpack stolen from women’s gym
A female student reported having her backpack stolen after she left it in front of her locker in the women’s gym on Feb. 25. The student said that because all of her belongings did not fit in the locker, she left the backpack outside.
