Letters to the editor should not exceed 300 words and must be signed by the writer. Please include a phone number or e-mail address for verification purposes.
If an organization submits a letter, it must be signed by only one person, either the head of the organization or the writer. Anonymous letters or letters signed with pen names will not be published.
The Rip reserves the right to edit letters, however, writers will be given the opportunity to revise lengthy or unacceptable submissions.
