Bakersfield College music instructor Kris Tiner is invited to sit in with Boxes of Water.

Boxes of Water, an innovative jazz band out of Los Angeles, held a free concert on February 21, at Dagny's Coffee Shop in downtown Bakersfield. The show was organized by Bakersfield College music instructor Kris Tiner. Tiner said the band was playing for gas money on their way back from a gig in San Francisco.
