Almost every woman I know has had some form of complaint about birth control and how there always seems to be so much more pressure on the woman to account for the actions of not only herself but another adult. Why is it that we are expected to put all kinds of different chemicals into our bodies just to be considered responsible? Why is it that men only have to worry about condoms, of which most of them complain? For any males out there that think condoms are too uncomfortable to wear, I can assure you all that it all feels worlds better when experienced internally.
But now, men have one of the many options we women have been afforded throughout the years - a birth control pill. Imagine, no more annoying condoms! And you don't even have to use that lame "Oh, man, I forgot them!" excuse anymore. All you have to do is take a measly pill and you will be baby-free. It bears a sense of personal freedom in a way.
I can fully appreciate the flexibility this is going to provide some couples. Some women do not or cannot take almost all forms of birth control due to either personal preference or health purposes.
If these women are married to or are in a serious relationship with a man who does not think that they should use condoms for whatever reasons, then the man can just take a pill and everyone wins. A birth control pill for men is a great idea and long overdue.
