Bakersfield College is welcoming students back for the spring semester with a gift, newly installed speed bumps.  Maintenance & Operations closed down the main entrance to campus on Jan. 14, and installed speed bumps.  In a statement released by Maintenance & Operations, it was indicated that the speed bumps were being installed “To further ensure the safety of our students, all of us here at BC and at the request of many on campus.”  The main entrance is expected to be re-opened by Jan. 15.
