The Renegade Rip staff won a total of 27 awards at the Southern California Journalism Association of Community Colleges competition held at California State University, Fullerton, last weekend.
Students won awards in a variety of on-the-spot deadline competitions and mail-in categories, as well as the top award of general excellence for the newspaper. The Rip’s new online edition also won the highest honor of general excellence for online publications.
