The misdemeanor trial of a Bakersfield College employee was postponed, according to Kern County court records.
Food service employee Pamela Miller is accused of scratching the green 1993 Toyota Camry of BC custodian Edison Cruz. Miller has denied the charge.
Cruz’s wife videotaped the alleged crime on campus Feb. 12.
John Tello, Miller’s attorney, asked for additional time to prepare for the case. The trial is set for May 3.
A female student had a seizure while in class on April 23, according to campus police.
The instructor and a campus police officer helped the student onto a cart.
The student was transported from the Forum East building to the nurse’s office. The student’s family was notified.
