Renegades defensive end Keylon Hollis leads BC’s defense with 12 1/2 sacks and 16 1/2 tackles for a loss despite missing the first two games due to a suspension. Hollis was awarded Defensive Player of the Year on Nov. 22 by a unanimous vote in the National Northern Conference.
He missed the first game against Mt. SAC, in which BC fell 34-14, but with him on the field in the SoCal Championship game the Renegades beat Mt. SAC 31-20 and Hollis had 8 tackles and 2 sacks.
