Renegade softball team win their last game of the regular season 9-2

Renegades softball played their last game of the regular season on April 24 against Moorpark College. BC won the game by a score of 9-2 after an explosive second inning in which BC scored six runs. Kylee Fahy, starting pitcher for the Renegades, allowed only two earned runs on seven hits and registered seven strikeouts. BC players Jordan Jimenez and Alexis Solis led the offensive effort and had two RBIs each.

The win reflected BCs overall winning record this year. The team finished in second place in the Western State Conference (South) behind LA Pierce with an overall record of 31-9. Offensively, the Renegades overall batting average was .323 and scored a total of 217 runs. BC only dropped a single conference game during the year in a 1-0 loss at Allan Hancock College. BC starting pitcher, Kylee Fahy, proved to be a major key in BCs success this season. The freshman pitcher from Liberty High School held a record of 28 wins and six losses. Not only did Fahy lead the state in strikeouts (268) but she made impact offensively with a batting average of .327. This years team was lead by head coach Casey Goodman.
