How many students can say that they don’t cheat and like to take French?
One student is Anne Kleinsasser. She cites these as reasons for her focus.
“It is good to know French because it is the second most widely spoken language in the world,” she said.
She also uses her conscience as her main cheating deterrent.
“I don’t cheat because I feel really bad afterwards.”
Cello and piano are two things she enjoys in both school and recreational activities.
“Music for me is hereditary, my dad teaches music at Cal State,” she said.
She has even chosen to play the piano since she was 8.
Kleinsasser is a Bakersfield High School student who is active in her school’s music programs.
When asked about what she wants to do, she is still undecided, but she has a good idea.
“I think I would enjoy the aspects of international journalism,” she said.
Kleinsasser is in her sophomore year and has already started researching colleges.
“I would like to go to either Minnesota or Northwestern,” she said. “They both have good journalism programs.”
As her choice for an ideal role model, Kleinsasser explained why the Dell commercial computer endorser Steven was her pick.
“I think we all strive to be as happy as Steven.”
