Bakersfield College’s cross-country team participated in the WSC Conference meet where the women’s team took fifth out of nine teams. The Bakersfield cross country women’s team placed third and the men’s team took seventh at the Western State Conference Championships at Arroyo Verde Park on Oct. 24. The Bakersfield College women’s cross country team placed third overall at the 29th Ventura Invitational on Aug. 29. Eleven of the women from BC placed in the top 100, four of which were in the top 20.
