VCR stolen from Learning Center
On Aug. 17 at approximately 4 p.m. a BC staff employee stated that she had noticed a VCR missing from the Learning Center. The VCR was last seen before she left for vacation on Aug. 7. Another BC staff employee had noticed it last on Aug. 17. The estimated value of the equipment was $200.
Car crosses line, bumps another car
On Aug. 28 at approximately 12:20 p.m. campus police responded to a call in the northeast student parking lot. A female student stated that the vehicle parked in front of hers crossed over the white dividing line and was resting against the front bumper of her vehicle. The front license plate holder of the second vehicle was resting against the front bumper of the female students vehicle. Campus police had the female student back her vehicle away from the second vehicle. The female student stated that there was a slight indentation of the front bumper along with a slight paint scrape on the passenger side.
Hub cap collector strikes in southwest parking lot
A BC student on Aug. 30 at 12:30 p.m. came into the campus police office to report the theft of a wheel cap. The student stated that she parked her Ford Explorer in the southwest lot at approximately 10:50 a.m. and returned at 12:20 p.m. She noticed the cover missing from the left front tire as she approached the vehicle from the driver’s side.
Vandal tags humanities restroom with graffiti
At 12:05 p.m. on Aug. 28 campus police made contact with the humanities custodian in the humanities men’s restroom. The custodian stated that between 10 and 11 a.m. on that day, someone scratched graffiti on the mirrors and marked with black markers in two stalls and on two paper towel dispensers. Inside and over the exterior door the letter (or what appeared to look like letters) “SVEN” were printed in a light, white marker about one inch thick.
