A custodian called the campus police after reading in The Rip that books worth $1,500 were stolen from the Language Arts building Feb. 26. He said the books were not stolen after all because he put three cases of books in the custodial closet after not knowing who owned them. The books were taken to the campus police office and the owner was notified.
Missing items from locker room found
On Feb. 22, a male student reported leaving his backpack and clothing in the men’s gym locker at 1:30 p.m. After his workout, he returned to find the lock on the locker missing, as well as his backpack and clothing. His backpack was found.
A female student was assisted by campus police after an instructor notified them she needed help on Feb. 22. The student was transferred to the Health Center until a family member arrived.
