A group in Bakersfield is putting together Spanish rock shows and has announced its third event, “El Tremendo Huarachon,” at Chencho’s BBQ and Beer in the Bakersfield Dome.
The all-ages show is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 6. Tickets are $7 at the door with the first 20 people with a concert flier getting in for half price. The bands will be Nafalim from Los Angeles, Vital from Porterville and Ojo De Agua from Bakersfield.
The organizing group, known as Mozca Entertainment, has put on two shows with an average of 100 in attendance, according to a press release from Mozca.
“We need more people to support these shows so that we can continue to bring Spanish rock to the Bakersfield fans,” said Jesus Medina, a Bakersfield College student and one of the organizers of Mozca.
The other organizers are Juan Avila, Nikki Arreola, Javier Parra, Elva Avila and Alex Delgado.
