BC students were made aware via email that there had been two cases of grand theft auto on Jan. 22.

Although both vehicles that were reported stolen were Hondas, other makes and models can still be targets for thieves.

The two vehicles were taken from the southwest parking lot on the corner of Haley Street and University Ave. The suspect is still unknown to BC Public Safety.

Some helpful hints to remember include hiding valuables and not keeping them in plain sight,  be sure to lock your car and keep your keys on you at all times. If you have a car alarm make sure it is activated before leaving your car.

If you see any suspicious behavior taking place on campus, please call the BC Public Safety office at 395-4554, and in case of emergency please call 911.
