Michael Jackson is a child molester.
This is not a personal vendetta that District Attorney Tom Sneddon and Sheriff Jim Anderson have against him, even if Sneddon and Anderson are the same team that went up against Jackson 10 years ago when allegations of child molestation and his family surfaced. The two are vowing to make it stick this time.
I for one, hope they do.
Cops raided and searched Jackson’s Neverland Ranch on Nov. 18. The search came after a 13-year old boy reported information to his therapist about Jackson’s alleged behavior. During the search, police took fingerprints off liquor bottles and removed clothing and photographs.
Jackson should be tried in this case. He needs to be treated as anyone else and not as a superstar, no matter how much money he has. He needs to have a fair trial and address these allegations. Hollywood will only make this an uglier scene.
If he did it, he needs to pay for the crime, and not just with money. If he is innocent, an investigation should be launched to find out if this is just an attempt smear him.
Jackson has behaved strangely ever since he became big on the music scene and it’s time for him to address issues from his childhood.
Whatever the verdict, his custodial rights to his own children need to be reviewed.
