P-Dubs Mountain Bowling is a strike with Tehachapi

P-dubs Mountain Bowling is a popular establishment, but it was not the first. P-dubs had originally been a restaurant and bar, but now they have brought Tehachapi its first ever bowling and arcade place.

At the entrance, an array of colors and areas greet you, there is the arcade section that includes Skee-Ball, pinball machines, and more. The lights painting the arcade section add a playful nostalgia to most, and a fun place for the little ones. There is even an interesting arcade game where you throw an ax at a rubber target and compete with a friend to see who the best is. The arcade operates with a card you can reload with credits, me and my friends got 20 credits for 5 dollars.

On the left there is the bar section that also includes a pool table section in front of it. The shelves are full of the assortment of liquor with bartenders ready to help any customer waiting for service. The pool table areas are stocked with the pool poles called cue sticks, the triangle and diamond shaped racks, and even the pool balls.

Through the hallway in the middle is where the bowling section resides. We paid 30 dollars for one bowling lane altogether, and then bowling shoes which were 3 dollars each, but bowling lane prices differ depending on the day. For that price you get to play for an hour with the option of putting bumpers up and entering player names. We only put the bumpers up for fun, but either way the lanes are clean and clear for optimal bowling.

Servers come in and out of the bowling area and front area to ensure that customers have drinks and food if needed. I ordered fried pickles and a Pepsi for the drink, and the pricing was not expensive, but the prices vary depending on what type of food you are ordering. The fried pickles were fresh and delicious, and it was very tempting to order another batch.

An interesting bit that I thought should be in more establishments is a vendor that lets you select what music will be played in the building. There was a wide variety of genres, and you get to choose multiple songs, but the prices vary depending on what songs you pick and however many you choose.
