Saw X Movie Review

Saw is a scary/gory intense movie series that has been around for a long time with the first movie releasing in 2004 and till this day, the series goes on as the new Saw X movie released to theaters a few weeks ago. Saw X is less likely to be the last movie in the franchise though, as people thought it would be. The 81-year-old Tobin Bell who plays John Kramer who’s been in all the previous franchise movies is the lead actor in this movie.

The saw franchise movie main story is basically John Kramer kidnapping bad people or people doing things that he doesn’t think is right, puts them in a house or warehouse where he traps them, then one by one makes them play deadly games they must complete on time, if they don’t, they die, if they pass, they live and are set free.

The movie starts off with John Kramer going for his check up at a hospital because he’s been diagnosed with a disease in his head. His results come back in, and his doctor tells him nothing but bad news.

John later runs into one of his old buddies from his cancer support group that he was in who also had some cancer that wasn’t curable doctors told him, but once John asked how he has been doing he told him that he feels good and that he’s been cured. John couldn’t believe it and asked how. His friend tells him it was treated out of the country by Dr. Fin Peterson, a doctor who found cures for diseases but was forced into hiding because of the corrupt government. The guy gave John the email of the doctors daughter, Ms. Peterson, who wanted to carry the torch and keep helping people like her father did.

Upon further contacts and appointments, John ends up in Mexico for his surgery. He then meets Dr. Peterson and her team that will be performing the operation. They begin the surgery the next day, everything goes as planned and Dr. Peterson the next morning congratulates him saying he’s free finally and gets to live his life normally and is later released.

John can’t help but feel relieved and happy, so he decides to buy a gift to give to Dr. Peterson. When he gets there, everything’s abandoned and destroyed. John walks over to where the surgery took place and the only thing that wasn’t destroyed was the computer, he goes through it and finds a video recording of his procedure but finds out it wasn’t his. It was just a recording of someone else’s, and they tricked and scammed him for his money. He also finds out he wasn’t the only one to fall for it, all the other patients that Dr. Peterson “helped” were scammed of their money too and those people ended up dying anyways.

John decides to let his anger out and he goes to hunt them down and kidnaps them one by one with some help. Once he has captured them, he has them in a warehouse where soon the games will begin, the movie was a good one and intense.
