Bakersfield College’s women’s tennis team beat Ventura 6-3 on Tuesday, bringing its record to 6-4 overall, according to coach Keith Hinds.
“This is the most solid team I’ve had on all levels since I have been coaching at BC,” Hinds said.
The team has been playing well in singles matches; however, the coach says players could improve when it comes to doubles.
Hinds hopes that the team will be in the top three in the Western State Conference.
The team is currently 3-1 in conference. The team was scheduled to play Allan Hancock college on Thursday at BC.
