The Renegade Women’s Volleyball Team wins their last home game of the season

The Renegade Women’s volleyball team took on the Panthers from Chaffey College on Nov. 26 and beat them with a score of 3-0.

This was the last game of the first round in the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA), because the Renegade Women won this game they advance, to the second round.

In the first set Alyson Dees (19), freshman middle blocker at Bakersfield College, started scoring and the Panthers started catching up but fortunately, the Renegade Women won the first set with the score of 25-13.

In the second and third set, the Panthers scored first and went back and forth until the second set ended with a score of 25-13 (BC) and 25-15 (BC) in the third set.

With this victory, the Renegades Women’s volleyball team advanced to the second round of the CCCAA postseason games and played against the Grossmont Griffins on Nov. 30, and unfortunately, they lost with a score of 3-. This is their fourth time in a row winning the Western State Conference championship, according to the Go Gades Go website.
