The Bakersfield College Softball team suffered a 7-0 loss in a home game against the College of Sequoia Giants on Feb. 11.

In the first inning, the Giants scored three runs by running fast and batting the ball with enough force, and the score had remained the same all the way until the 6th inning.

The Renegades tried their best to bat the ball in order to get to first base, but the Giants kept striking the batters out and the Renegades failed to make a run.

“We didn’t pitch well,” BC Softball Coach Casey Goodman said. “We didn’t score runs to win, so we just didn’t come prepared to play today.”
