The Gades were able to get on the board early on with one run in the first inning. The Bulls quickly caught up in the second inning, and eventually they bypassed BC. In the third inning, the Bulls made two more runs which made the score 3-1. The 3-1 score stayed consistent until the top of the seventh inning.

Freshman, Daniel Ingrao, strikes out against LA Pierce Brahma Bulls, on Jan. 28.

BC freshman Pitcher, David Villegas (13), came into game pitching for three innings. In the seventh inning, the Bulls walked which gave them an easy score as the bases were full. The Bulls then scored due to a wild pitch, which made the score 6-1 at the bottom of the seventh.

BC freshman, Roman Rubio (36), came in to pitch for the Renegades for the last two innings, but it wasn’t enough. The final score was in favor of the Brahman Bulls leaving the Renegades defeated at 6-1.

“We got to get some offense, if we put some offense together, then we’ll be okay.”  “We got to get better each time out. We have 36 more games, so we need to continue to work and get better. That’s always our goal.” Tim Painton, BC head baseball coach said.

This is only the beginning for the Renegades baseball team. This leaves the Gade’s baseball team with a record of 1-3 for their season.
