The Renegades baseball team drops home game against College of the Sequoias

The Bakersfield College’s baseball team hosted College of the Sequoias at Gerry Collis Field on Feb. 12, with a loss of 4-3.

Right away COS started the top of the first with an RBI single off of BC’s starting RHP Gabe Ulloa.

BC didn’t get their first hit of the game until the sixth inning from Sage Voda, he scores from third after an RBI sacrifice fly from Ashanti Ross. Tying the game 1-1.

COS took back the lead again in the top of the eighth, scoring two runs off of RHP Ruben Barron.

The Renegades score one run in the eighth and leaving two runners on base on the third out. BC failed to score in the ninth, and the visiting team took the win.   

BC had a total of three hits and COS had 10 hits overall.

After this loss, BC drops to 7-4 overall.
