Bakersfield College’s beach volleyball team wins back-to-back

Bakersfield College Women’s Beach Volleyball team gain back-to-back wins when hosted against Moorpark College (MC) and Victor Valley College (VVC) at the CSUB Beach Volleyball courts on April 12.

The Renegades started the day with a 4-1 win over Moorpark College.

BC’s Morgan Townson and Penelope Zepeda defeated both matches against Moorpark, 21-12, 21-18.

Sarah Lopez and Lanie Camarillo defeated both matches against MC, 21-10, 21-9.

Mc took one win out of three matches with BC’s Julianna Strode and Kohra Garcia.

Jessica Merante and Precious Gonzalez won their matches, 27-25, 21-13.

Jade Johnson and Mckenzie Villalvazo won, 21-19, 21-13.

BC also took the win of the following game against Victory Valley, 5-0.

Zepeda and Townson defeated VVC on both matches, 21-18, 21-16.

Camarillo and Lopez won both matches, 21-6, 21-15.

Strode and Garcia won, 21-9, 21-8.

Merante and Gonzalez won both matches, 21-7, 21-2.

VVC forfeit the fifth match, so the Renegades took the win.

After these two back-to-back wins, the Renegades are 9-8.
