BC Baseball team suffers loss against the Moorpark Raiders

The Renegade baseball team suffered a loss against the Moorpark Raiders at their third home game for this semester with a score of 7-5 on Jan. 25.

During the 1st through 4th inning neither team scored, but both teams managed to get players on plates. Those players included Garrett Pavletich, 10, a Bakersfield College freshman, who made it to first base in the top of the third inning, and Wes Bradford, 28, a Bakersfield College sophomore, who made it to first base in the top of the third inning, but neither runs resulted in a point.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, while Moorpark was up to bat, a Raider, 24, made it to third base which resulted in a point for Moorpark. Later in the inning, two other Raiders, 20 and 22, scored. At the end of the fifth inning Moorpark led with a score of 5-0.

During the sixth inning, the Moorpark Raiders scored twice and led with a score from 7-0, according to the GoGades website.

During the seventh inning, neither team scored, but in the eighth inning BC made a slight comeback and brought the score to 7-5.
