Renegades face Fullerton on the road

Normally football season ends in February, but unfortunately, it does not seem like it as the Renegades lose by a football score of 25-3 to Fullerton. BC scored the first run on Alek Martinez hit, then scored another in the second off of a home run by Luke Froehlich, but both of those runs would be answered, and the game was at a stale 2-2 until BC scored one more in the 6th inning which would unknowingly be their last run.

In the bottom half of the same inning, the floodgates would open as Fullerton scored 12 runs in the 6th. Then Fullerton would keep their foot on the gas scoring 6 more in the 7th inning, and finally would finish the Renegades off with another 5 in the 8th inning. The Renegades had no answer for this offensive fury, and the bats went silent with the final score being 25-3.

Jarrett Branen is credited with the loss giving up 8 runs, with only three of them being earned. Brady Fox also gave up 9 earned for Bakersfield. This game makes BC’s record 5-12 on the season with a month and a half left to this season around.
