MLB 2022 season is in Full Swing as NBA Playoffs continue

As the first month of the MLB season is quickly wrapping up, the NBA playoffs are moving along. Both would not be the same without their fair share of upsets. On the MLB side, the Los Angeles Dodgers have had trouble beating teams who, on paper, they shouldn’t. Losing 2 of 3 from the Diamondbacks earlier this week and also lost 2 of 3 from the Rockies a couple of weeks prior. When writing this, the Dodgers are 14-6 and are a half-game out of first place in the division as they trail their division rival San Francisco Giants.
Moving over to the NBA side, the powerhouse Brooklyn Nets with stars such as Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and the most controversial player this season, Ben Simmons, were swept in 4 games by the Boston Celtics, who are ironically Kyrie Irving’s former team. The Golden State Warriors had been snake bitten with an injury bug during the season, but it looks like the Warriors of old as they beat the Denver Nuggets 4 games to 1 to advance. The Warriors will meet either the Timberwolves or Grizzlies as that series finishes up. At the time of writing, the Grizzlies are currently winning the series 3 games to 2. The defending champions Milwaukee Bucks will face the Boston Celtics in the conference semifinals. The winner of that series will meet the Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat winner. The defending western conference champion Phoenix Suns will take on the Dallas Mavericks. Plenty of games left as this NBA season is quickly approaching its finale.
