CALM to host Boo-at-the-Zoo event

A frightfully fun time awaits you at CALM (California Living Museum), Oct. 19 and 20 as they prepare for their annual Boo-at-the-Zoo event. It kicks off at 9 a.m 4 p.m. Tons of activities and spooky surprises await guests of all ages. Children under 12 years old get in for free but must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. 

Ghouls and gooblins of all ages who attend the event are encouraged to wear their best costumes and outfits. 

Trick-or-treating will be all day during the event, along with many more surprises such as games and festive decorations throughout the zoo.

Not only will the guests be treated to treats and sweets, but the bears and condors will be given a huge treat-filled jack-o-lantern with their favorite foods. Special wildlife presentations will be also be given with all of the animals at the zoo in order to help guests learn about the wildlife.  

The Central California Children’s railroad will be giving guests rides around the park for only one dollar. Food will be provided the Hunsaker Bros. Carnie Corn including fresh-popped kettle corn and finely shaved ice being served all day.
