Bakersfield College’s women basketball team played against the Taft College cougars at home on March 19.

The Renegades maintained a strong lead throughout the game and finished with a score of 63-27. Head Coach, Paula Daul, was happy for her team getting the win, bringing their current overall for the season to 3-3.

“Just the fact that we’re blessed enough to be able to play during COVID and that they get a chance to do something they love and were able to do some great things tonight,” Daul stated. “I’m in a great place and I’m just happy for my kids.”

Daul’s goals for the rest of the season are to improve on boxing out, out-rebound each team they face, and continue to improve upon their team chemistry.

The Renegades’ next game is March 26 at Antelope Valley College.
