Bakersfield College men’s basketball secured an impressive home victory on Tuesday Nov.11, rolling past Porterville 75–57 at the Gil Bishop Sports Center.

The Renegades set the tone from the opening tip, shooting a consistent 50% in both halves and maintaining control throughout the game. # 23 Joaquin Rios led the charge with 17 points on an outstanding 7-of-8 performance. #11 Zykiar Henderson followed with 12 points and six boards, while #2 Gustavo Chavez knocked down three shots from deep to finish with nine. #5 Markell Brooks added eight points and matched Henderson with six rebounds.
BC dominated the interior, scoring 42 points in the paint and capitalizing on Porterville’s mistakes with 20 points off turnovers, highlighting a complete effort on both offense and defense.
