The Renegades walked into Tuesday night looking for a statement win. They walked out with one of their most convincing performances of the season.
BC exploded in the second half and rolled past Victor Valley 108–82, turning a competitive first twenty minutes into a complete runaway. Once the Renegades found their rhythm, the pace flipped instantly fast breaks, ball movement, and a long list of players stepping in with big stretches.
Forward Zykiar Henderson (11) set the tone early and never slowed down. The junior forward was almost automatic around the rim, finishing with 22 points on 8-of-10 shooting, plus 9 rebounds and two blocks. Every time Victor Valley tried to make a push, Henderson answered with a drive, a finish through contact, or a huge defensive stop.
BC’s depth became the real story after halftime. Guard Tyron Tyler (4) came off the bench firing, knocking down four threes and ending the night with 16 points. His shooting burst in the second half completely shifted the momentum and opened the floor for everyone else.
Meanwhile, guard Damari Davis (22) delivered one of the most efficient scoring nights you’ll see from the free-throw line. He went 11-for-11, finishing with 15 points and giving the Renegades a steady scoring option whenever the game got physical.
Gustavo Chavez (2) added 11 points with three triples, and Markell Brooks (5) chipped in 10 while attacking the paint and hitting all his free throws. James Miller (13) quietly filled the stat sheet with 10 points and four assists, guiding the offense during key stretches.
Victor Valley kept things close early, but once BC cranked up the ball pressure and started running in transition, the game flipped fast. The Renegades’ bench outscored Victor Valley’s reserves by a wide margin, and the defense forced turnovers that turned into layups and open threes.
By the time Tyler, Wade, and Armstrong started connecting late in the game, the lead ballooned, and the gym felt the energy shift completely in BC’s favor.
The win pushes the Renegades’ momentum forward with a high-scoring outing and shows how dangerous they can be when every level of the roster contributes
